Welcome to my beautiful jungle home in Tulum, Mexico! “Casa del Arts y Angels”.
I built this house myself, it was a labor of love, and I love to share it with all those who love adventure!
The house is located in the picturesque “Dos Ojos Cenote Parque” just 15 km from Tulum downtown. We are just a short 8 km drive from the gorgeous “Xcacel” Turtle Sanctuary Beach, which has NO Hotels, just white beach, protected dunes and a lovely Cenote in the mangroves. My property is off the grid and entirely solar powered and green, & yes we do have wifi !!!
Pool
We draw our water from a well or “Pozo”. A solar powered pump draws pristine crystalline water from the sacred underground river. These sacred waters are said to have healing properties and i know this to be true. This highly mineralized water fills my pool and supplies the house with water for washing. Our guests can enjoy the pool and waterfall, which gives a beautiful head & neck massage. See a pic of my Pozo below, and my “Cascada” (waterfall) in action!
Garden
My pride and joy is my large tropical garden filled with many wild Jungle orchids, local flowering shrubs, climbing vines & tropical palms. I grow many of my own fruits and vegetables such as lemons, limes, mangoes, avocados, coconuts, papayas, guanabana, oranges, bananas, fresh herbs and much more!
Patio
The all stone work including the pool and patio is built from the indigenous lime stone we dug out of the land when building the house. The Patio is shaded by a classic Mayan Palapa roof and has an outdoor kitchen with custom barbecue & pizza oven. Guests dine here alfresco.
Casita Flor de Miel

Come and stay in our rental cabana “Casita Flor de Miel”. Named for my favorite wild orchid in the garden, with yellow flowers that smell like Honey! This stone cottage is constructed in a typical Mayan style with grass “Palapa” roof. It has a queen size bed, a private bathroom with hot running water, a fan and solar powered A/C. There is parking, and I would say a rental car is a must when you stay here. There is no kitchen, but guests who stay, can order breakfast and/or dinner for delicious home cooked Mexican meals!
Cenotes
A Diver’s Paradise, many people come for a day or two to explore the beautiful and mysterious local Cenotes. Found only in this part of the world, The crystalline blue water that literally glows, these underground caves full of stalagmites and stalactites are the perfect venue for snorkeling and diving.
